Classic Beef Burger

There's nothing quite like a juicy, homemade beef burger. This recipe uses 80/20 ground beef for the perfect fat ratio, ensuring moist and flavorful patties every time. Topped with melted cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and our signature tangy sauce, it's better than anything you'll get at a drive-thru.

Ingredients

Instructions

1

Form Patties

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Gently shape them into patties slightly wider than your buns. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

2

Toast Buns

Lightly butter the cut sides of the buns. Toast them on a skillet or grill until golden brown. Set aside.

3

Cook Beef

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill to high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-well. In the last minute, place cheese slices on top and cover to melt.

4

Assemble

Spread the mayo-ketchup sauce on the bottom bun. Layer with lettuce, tomato, the cheeseburger patty, and red onions. Top with the bun crown and serve immediately.
